I'm not going to budge here, I saw a 17" @ Best Buy and now I can't stand anything less. Quite annoying, really.
3) Please select your country's flag as a post icon and tell us what country are you buying this in.
USA

Most likely it will sit on my desk about half the time, in my room about a quarter of the time, and then at class another quarter of the time.
7) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
Yes.
Civilization IV on max is what I'd really like (and don't forget Spore!)
(And the ability to play, say, Civlization V if it comes out in a few years)
A lot of flash development will be taking place on this laptop, and I'd rather like to play my own games
8) How many hours of battery life do you need?
It doesn't matter, just as long as I don't have to keep it plugged in all the time. (AKA 1-2 hours)

Perfectly fine with me.
10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista), Mac OS, Linux, etc.
Going with Vista because of DX10.
