Xoticpc 3-4 week delay on Force 3310

Hi all,
I ordered a Xotic PC Force 3310 that went into Phase 2 on July 31, 2008.
I received an email that day saying:
New status: Phase 2 (Sent for Custom Building / Testing / Burn In & Final QA) 3-7 Business Days

It's now 15 business days later (3 weeks) and I haven't heard anything new. I called them and they said that '3-7 business days' starts counting from 'when they receive parts', which I guess still hasn't happened yet. I'm thinking of canceling the order and going with a Lenovo.

I just wanted to warn others out there that there may be long delays....

Can you email me your order # and I will look into your order? At the time of your order you were placing a pre order in for this model and has regularly started shipping in the last week. I can look into the details on this for you.

In much the same way, I received that same notice 5 business days ago. Granted, not near as much as you Jim, but I thought the order wouldn't take that much time to complete. Time plays a factor because I would like to have the laptop for an upcoming trip.

Could you please look into my order (#7218) as well Justin? My e-mail should be available to you. Frankly, it'd be much easier for me to buy a very comparable laptop locally, so I may need to cancel my order.
