*DROOL* I am so stoked! my shipping tracker says it will be here tomorrow!!! My 5792 is actually in the same city as I am right now... I wonder how much trouble I would be in if I stole my own package out of the UPS warehouse downtown tonight :D

If you have the capability, One thing you can do, (what myself and others have done) is call UPS the night prior to delivery and ask them to hold at the facility for pick up. Most of the time they will be able to hold it for you and you can go and pick it up and 9AM or whatever time your facility opens in the morning. :)

Is the quality on a 1920x1200 native resolution on the NP5792 effected when you scale the resolution down on a game, say to 1680x1050? (I know that the larger resolution looks better, but I always have to play games at my 19" desktop screen's native resolution, 1280x1024, to have good quality gaming.)

Scaling will depend on the monitor also. But no, it won`t be or will be very little affected by it. From my experience the screem has a plethura of resolutions that look just as good as the native one(16:10)

Thanks! I was pretty sure that laptop resolutions were different than desktops... considering that they essentially fit a 22" desktop resolution onto a 17" screen. Just wanted to be sure that I could play Crysis and future games maxed, but at a resolution lower than the native one.

You should be able to play all high, 1280 without problems, with the appropriate drivers.
