Core i7 processor, G280 GPU,DDR3(but no triple channel... come on clevo get with the program :p),HDMI, all the goodies you could possibly dream of! (except maybe an AOLED screen :))
*shudder with power overload*
on a side note... I AM trying not to post these 'future' models (release date May 2009, sell date 4Q 2009) but I just got too excited :D

You have perfect reason to be exited. :) This is going to be quite the machine when it is released. We should know more concrete info on this model after CeBit. :)

This is the kind of power that will soon need a nuclear psu... but on the upside, you wont need a radiator to heat your house anymore :p:p
:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy
but wow!! I imagine that is going to cost more than an arm and a leg, perhaps a liver too...
But that is incredible!!!
Great find!

Anandtech did a little write up but there are errors that were corrected at the bottom of the article.
I won't link it here because they didn't specifically mention Sager as an OEM. But you can bet Sager will have one.
SLI with GTX 280 is still unconfirmed but there is talk now of four internal hard drives...presumably in the space where the second graphics card would normally go. memory will be 3 slot.

...memory will be 3 slot.
Thats good to hear, Last I saw "they" were saying it had 2 slots, 8Gb max. which I didn't think would work with the Core i7s
this should be quite the beast when we see the final product :) can't wait
EDIT, I took a look on Anandtech's site and the photo gallary of the D900F... Looks kinda shady if you ask me, look at the ports on the hands on unit, they are from the D901C. they dont have the same configuration as the CeBIT hands off photo
Now I dont know where Eurocom gets its info from, but they are giving a May 1st shipping date. thats pretty impressive if you ask me... I'd be interested to know when XoticPC is sheduled to have these King of Beasts in stock?

The M980NU and D901F are in the pipeline. However there is not much concrete info at this time on a ETA. If you have followed new releases in the past you will see a common pattern on how Eurocom "release dates" work. They always jump the gun with release dates. (i.e. Remember the hottest model last year, the M860TU (Sager 8660), their release date was off by several months) Guess who was shipping first? :)
As we get more info we will post it up here for all of you. :smile2:

Very good point Justin. I did watch several take pre orders long before you guys did. I don't know your business but it seems like they took the pre orders when specs were released. You guys looked like you waited until they gave you a ship date. And not about the NP8660 in particular but sometimes even ODM/OEM ship dates fall back.
I remember one company got everyone so excited and had people who pre ordered waiting 6 months (8660?). And as you said maybe your customers got theirs first?
So everyone just relax take a deep breath. I am 99% certain Justin wants to sell you stuff. So If he is not offering to take your money now? Consider if someone else is willing to? What, are they bankers and will invest your money to make more?
And thanks Justin! :)

damn..so confusing :confused:.... now i have big doubt to buy Asus W90VP-A1 :-/, it hurts ur heart when u buy for almost $3K and another 2 month, another "BEAST" machine will make ur lappie down the sink.

Personally I don't like desktop processors in a laptop. I have a i7 extreme in my Fragbox & love it! I would'nt wait it in a laptop though. Anyway, dont sweat the laptop choice: the Asus & the Clevo M980NU(one its out) are both awesome laptops!

MyCizmo in the U.K. is willing to take your money for a preorder of the 901F. It had a "eta" of April 17!lol Their website still says April 17! Crazy I would'nt give any business money until they have a estimate shipping date. Powerpack had a good point:their not bankers. They don't invest the money their holding for you! Well, many I'm wrong:perhaps they don't charge your credit card until they have a shipping date.
