XoticPC was recommended to me by a friend, but when I tried to view your website, I got a scrambled page. I do not use MS IE for security reasons (not because it is insecure, but because people love to write code to exploit it a lot more than other browsers). But even switching to IE, the browser reports several errors on the page (although ii is much more readable). Being an online retailer, I'm sure you know your front page is just as important as any brick-and-mortar store front display. First impressions mean a lot!

The cute little tricks you can do with non-standard IE functions may seem like a good idea, but you can do the same things with a little more work using standards-compliant code. You'll have happier customers, more readable pages, and maybe even make a little more money from people who would have dismissed an unreadable web page.

Thanks for your feedback ChrisW. Please explain what you see incorrectly on the home page. We have verified the home page works 100% under FireFox, IE and Chrome. On our side IE doesn't report a single error.

Us ubber geeks know what "XoiticPC" is. But if you can believe others think it involves "ladies behaving well" and as such gets unfairly restricted?

I think rdaley might be onto something. But with out knowing what browser kind of hard to test and correct if it is not what is said above.

Are you using Opera? I have the same issue with the web browser as well as going in to view the laptops in all categories and finding that the which sections showing the laptops is off centered to the leftcutting off some of the computers.

Can you provide screenshots of the scrambled pages and add them as attachments?

The log in should be fixed now as we had to add a script for IE6. Those government computers using these old browsers should be good to go.

Browser cross compatibility is a hard task for a developer to work with. Our developer made our site compatible with All FF, IE 6, IE7, IE8 and Chrome. Those are the top browsers. If you can post a screen shot of any other browsers with problems please let us know and we will review it.

Just for the record the website works fine with Safari on an iPod touch and iPhone
