I figured I would post this thread because I can imagine that I am not the only one boiling with excitement about their new NP8662! Feel free to post some of your pre-arrival gripes or questions! Maybe some of you soon to be owners, may have some insight for others!
I was wondering, does anyone know how to install Windows 7 or Vista from a USB Drive? I have used some utilities to build XP usb bootable drives, just wondering if anyone has had some luck with vista or 7.
One other thing, anyone planning on configuring the machine with the OCZ Vertex SSD? I got mine from newegg, and was hoping that there would be no conflicts with this drive and the NP8662.
I pre-ordered April 2nd (as i recall), and have seen my machine bounce from phase 1, to 2, then back to 1. Patience is a virtue and I would love to get some insight on what the hold up is! Thanks guys!
