Excited to get your laptop?

Well i just ordered the insanely awesome np9280. it cost me about 3k and im really excited to get it... but I am a little nervous as I am not used to ordering online. After spending so much money on a laptop as this I want it to come to me in good quality and working...I guess im just nervous because of other websites track records (alienware). I've heard great things about xoticopc however... i guess il just have to cross my fingers...well anway...

The last big thing I ordered was a 40" HDTV, which kept me biting my nails until it was in my apartment.

I ordered a Sager 8662 just the other day for just under $2000 and I'm anxious and eager to get it and pray it's everything I hope it will be.

Never easy spending money on something sight unseen, but based on what others have said, and what I've seen here so far, I'm confident that if something is wrong, Xotic will work with me to get it fixed.

Thats what I keep telling myself anyway. ;)

Be careful when ordering on line! But from Xotic do not worry! You will be fine. I don't know what else to say. It is a matter of trust. And Xotic is up to the challenge.

that makes me feel a LOT better...actually i have quite a few friends that are planning to buy a new gaming pc soon... I told them i was ordering from xoticpc... If everything goes well and i got me laptop decently on time and working i plan to recommend them to order from xoticpc...you just can't beat some of there prices.... Im so excited....if all goes well xoticpc can consider me a customer for life

Before I was actually skeptical ordering from here because I got the feeling this was just another reseller who states exactly what you want them to say and things don't turn out they way you hoped. But after actually reading around a lot of other forums, I heard a lot of good things about this site after I ordered my laptop. My faith is strong if not reinforced.

BTW I'm too anxious about waiting though I know it'll arrive when it arrives. :(

well right now im worried about the fact that im still in phase 1...i used a check as a payment...and maybe they just havent gotten it yet?? or maybe it takes a while to proccess? or maybe they just are really busy right now and havent had the oppurtunity to email me back verifying im in phase 2....i just want the worries to be over with

i also wrote a check. they should have gotten it yesterday. i secured it with a credit card so as soon as sager releases them i should get mine shipped.

i sent mine last friday (the check) and would have thought they would have recieved it by now...but i have not gotten a confirmation yet

I sent my check on the 14th? i would think xotic would have got it by now and sent me a confirmation email saying that got it??? maybe ill get lucky and one of the justins will see my post and can check 4 me

Best thing that can be is to call customer service and find out whether or not they have recieved your order. Call in on tuesday as soon as possible.

thats what i will do then... i just don't want to be a pest to xoticpc...its just im a nervous kinda guy about spending online and really want this purchase to go well

I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Time for the check to get there.

Time for them to get it depostied (not all companies do this the day they get a check).

Time for it to clear the bank before they order parts/start assembly.

Just be thankful that with modern computer systems that checks can clear in 1-2 days instead of the 7-14 it used to take. ;)
