There is some pretty bad forum errors, the first and most major is the approval of posts. They are really obnoxious, so bad to the point where i edited a thread, and it required approval, so I dont even have a post, just the replies to my ghost post. Probably could easily be fixed by with any1 over 10 posts does not require approval. This seriously is really really irritating.

Second off, maybe a bit more mod/admin involvement also will fix these problems, such as, getting my threads approved!

I had more at one point, but its 3am here, so nighty night time

Most posts will automatically be approved if you provide a link rather than just a URL address

An example of this is below:

URL Address: www.xoticpc.com

Or a link such as this (http://www.xoticpcforums.com/www.xoticpc.com)

IDK, its just rediculous that it does that. I mean I'm starting to like frequenting to these forums a lot, but things like that are pretty rediculous

We will look into it. Unfortunately we have to keep the forums on a higher security level to prevent spam. Some of the users that have been here for a while know what I mean. In the past we were getting over 100+ posts of spam per day that has been cut down to under 1. We will see if we can adjust it slightly.

I can atest to the spam volume, I've been following these forums for close to two years now and have seen 2 major flare ups with the spam. They really have it under control now. It may seem inconvienent to have to post a certin way, but at least we arn't getting spamed with adult sites :)

I agree with you on that robamb2002. The old spam filters didn't do a very good job, but now the new spam filters catch and moderate pretty much all spam. :)

I have approved your forum thread in the tips, trick, and guides section and have merged the two threads together as well. In the future try to provide a link instead of a URL address. This will ensure that the thread/post is approved right away.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
