Just in case anybody was interested in squeezing a little more juice out of their 260m, I think I've found the sweet spot for overclocking. Using Nvidia system tools for the 200m series (ver 6.05), I clocked my GPU to 625, 950, 1550 (core, mem, shader) from 550, 800, 1350. Using 3dMark06 I gained about 900 points from about 10300 to about 11200 :-). I also tried clocking slightly over this and was getting a little extra juice, but the framerate became unstable and would stutter/freeze occassionally. If anyone else has some tweaking tips for the 8662 I'd love to hear them!

What kind of temp increases did you have?

The temp doesn't really become a problem, but stability does. I now just clock to 600/900/1500 if I'm going to game, and there's not a problem temp or stability wise. It gives a good solid boost safely I think.

Well if no one else will say it I will. Thanks for doing the work so we don't have to!
Unfortunately the gpu gave up on me during performance test 7.0 from passmark. I guess I'll have to do my own tweaking.

I used 600/900/1450 and now my score went from 1219 to 1368!

Hmm that's odd. Well I'm glad you found something that works... and don't feel bad about not getting that i7/280m. The 8662 still holds its own and only lags a little behind the new tech. They'll both become outdated around the same time and both will be able to handle stuff similarly until then. I'm happy I got this nice package when I did, and when it's time to upgrade the stuff will be leaps and bounds (not a skip) from what's out now.
