Would I be able to get the same performance with readyboost, or is turbomemory better?

if you plan on getting at least 2 GBs of Ram id say that ready boost and turbo memory are both useless and usually just cause more issues and have sometimes seen a performance decrease in systems utilizing turbo memory (and ready boost)

Firstly: Great SB reference :p
Secondly: I agree both tech will provide little performace boost and may actually slow the system down.
Thirdly: technically speaking the turbo memory would provide a better performace per GB than the readyboost. this is because the turbo boost will be accessed through the PCI interface while the readyboost is accessed through the USB, which is considerably slower than the PCI interface.
Hope that helps :)

They're right. It's all pretty much a scam. Invest in good amount of quality ram, decent cpu, and a faster hard drive for speed and performance with loading tasks.

I would normally agree with the guys above but I just bought Intel stock, answer is? Turbo is the best thing since the pooper scooper.
