I was looking for a particular post so i searched for it...while trying to i had to enter in the numbers and letters on the screen...is there any other secure ways to do this....i see incredibly poorly and makes it difficult to do things like this...it may be easier for other users to have an alternative way to do this

Use the little search box on the top right of the site. (You will see a black box you can type whatever you want to search).
If you are using the vBulletin search unfortunately you have to use the captcha.

Out of curiosity as a designer that has needs at times to add reCAPTCHA to area of sites, how is reCAPTCHA for you? (incorporates sound versions as well, such as on this page: http://kindred-daoc.net/crafted/report.php?report=arcanium_Benthic_Fist_Wrap_Albio n_Weaponcraft ).
Does it make it easier? or is it not even seen w/the little tiny icon?
tia, appreciate your thoughts.

the icon is difficult to see....but MUCH easier to deal with than trying to see all the letters...as long as i mange to click the sound thing im good...recaptcha is much better

Thanks for the reply - I had been wondering awhile now, but had no one to ask. I thought the icons super tiny given why they are there in the first place - nice to know that format is helpful.
Thanks again!
