Hi,
New here and am in decision about getting a Force 3551 or the new upcoming Alienware 15". The only reason why I want an Alienware is simply the color light up keyboard. Alienware is the only company to do this as i know of and wondering if Exotic PC will offer this or at least a backlit keyboard. The M15x is getting outdated and I want a more powerful laptop that would last a couple of years. If exoticPC can offer this feature I would rather go with the Force 3551 simply because of the cheaper price and I would be getting it now other then waiting for whenever Alienware lauches their new 15" line.

P.S. Is there a way you can add a Alienware m15x keyboard to the Force 3551 and getting it to light up work?

:D

You could checkout the Asus G51VX-A1 (http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-g51vxa1-order-p-2595.html) as this has an illuminated keyboard.

Jedi,

You do realize that Alienware is Dell which means higher price as you pointed out, but also means almost zero customer service, zero domestic tech support (if you can call it that and which is not free after one year) and only limited warranties.
Just so you know.

Thanks Justin_W@XoticPC for pointing out Asus G51VX-A1 (http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-g51vxa1-order-p-2595.html). It looks nice but just as pricey as a new Alienware the only difference in price XoticPC offers a highest end graphics card compatible, while the Alienware will start off its lowest end compatible with that price. would be saving 300-400 with the Asus but I think id pay an extra 300-400 for it to be an Alienware and having the AlienFX.

Anewbus I have bought 3 dell pc's, 1 dell laptop and I have an acer PC With in my life time of purchasing computers the majority being from dell. and to tell you the truth I was well satisfied with DELL's customer service with in the 7 years with them. As for Alienware never did business with them yet and I have read up on rumors that their customer service is not so good but thinking they teamed up with dell hopefully it'll change if it wasn't so good at first.

Do you guys think the Alienware FX keyboard would work on others?
