Hi everyone,

I purchased a NP8662 for a work project in June. Unfortunately the project has been cut short and I no longer need this beast of a laptop.

It's in perfect condition and runs beautifully! I'll pay for shipping and also include my Zalman NC-1000 cooler, StarTech "portable" cooler, and Swiss Gear backpack. I ordered it without an OS and have been using Windows 7 RC (7100) - I'll do a clean install of that and all of the drivers so that it's ready to use.

Here are the specs:

I was hoping to get $1,750 for everything (I'll pay to ship) - I just spent about $2,200 for this only 2 months ago. I know there's another similar machine for sale here for much less, but this one has a faster processor, Intel Roboson Turbo Memory (4GB), and extra A/C adapter - plus, I'll install the OS and drivers.

Please send me a PM if you're even remotely interested.

I don't mean to be a dick but isn't that pretty pricey for a used laptop. And how could you pay that much I'm pretty sure it's not worth that.

I bought it new in June. The laptop was $2,000-ish and the bag and coolers were another $200.

I was hoping that $1,750 would be fair (12.5% discount for only 2 months of use), but obviously that may be too much to ask.

What seems like a fair price for this to you? I'm hoping to be pretty flexible here...

Well all I'm saying is I got my 8662 with the same specs for around $1700 without the cash discount and with the ~$125 Vista install. I'm sorry if the turbo memory was much, but I'm not sure many people want that especially after all the negative things people have said about it - it's a bummer but it's like paying for a nuisance unless you disable it. You are right that you're including accessories, but I think that may only slightly draw someone towards your comp - I'm not sure it'll be a deal maker/wanted extra cost.

I don't mean to hinder your selling, I just wanted to try and help you sell while it's still a top dog on the market a worth a good amount. I can delete these posts if you'd like just PM me and I will, but I think you should lower your price if you really want to move this. Also I'd consider posting on ebay for a possibly higher price... you never know on there... but here I think most people read a lot about what we've already posted/know the going prices. Hope this helps.

Edit - I'm not sure exactly what you should price it since it will have to do with how much you hope to get... I don't want you to sell for less than you'd be happy to sell for... but I'd say the ballpark of $1500-$1600 would be able to move it. Just a guess though based on what I've heard they resell for.

Thanks for the feedback, DryIce.

The prices for the Turbo Memory was only $85. The extra A/C adapter and 2 year warranty (which I forgot to mention) are also value-adds that contributed to the higher price.

I'll look into eBay also.

Thanks again

Hey: Do you still selling your sager?

It's still for sale, but I'm not actively attempting to sell it now.

It has actually had some problems and has been to visit Sager twice now. I doubt anyone will want to buy it now since a new one is almost as cheap.

I could wait and poblaby buy it from you, after you fix it.
