I'm curious if anyone here will be able to answer this question, as I'm still waiting on a response from TSF. Does anyone know of a way to keep applications loaded in memory in Linux, specifically Fedora? After playing around with OSX Leopard a bit, I noticed that applications launch immediately when clicked on because they remain in memory even when they are exited. This leads to an overall smoother OS experience (and come on, who doesn't love that?)
I've already installed the application titled 'Preload', but it doesn't keep applications in memory, only commonly used files that those applications use (kind of like a DLL preloader for Windows).
