I told Joseph Lee, the employee that helped me not only build my laptop for about an hour but constantly answered my questions with professionalism and enthusiasm, that I would come on here and tell me how much I enjoy my laptop and appreciate my help. Guys, this was over a month ago haha. Actually, it was about 3-4 months ago. During the summer. I told him I would do it and just kept being sidetracked. Well, I finally took out some time and decided to post. Hopefully, he remembers me. I'm Bradley Spears. He helped me build the Sager NP5797:

One question though. I no longer see that model here. Is it because I'm not looking or has it been discontinued? If so, will that be a problem for me?

Hi Speed,

Joseph, the Justins, everyone at XoticPC rocks! You just don't find that level of customer service and honesty anymore these days. That's why XoticPC really stands out! I remember when I first came to them to order my laptop almost a year ago, I called every other day for 3 months with question after question and each one was always answered completely and with a smile. It was my first laptop and they gave me a nice crash course education and the support started with my first call with a question and has not ended! It never ends! This leads into the answer to your question about your Lappy.
Yes, that model has been discontinued, but you need not worry. It is still supported which is the idea behind the fact that Xotic offers laptops based on only two or three of the largerest OEM manufactures. This makes support easier.
Laptops are starting to become like Cell phones new models come out every friggin month making the phone you got 3 weeks ago obsolete. The difference though is that in laptop world for the moment and at least with XoticPC your machine is still supported whereas in phone world your carrier will not support your old phone once it goes obsolete.

Ahh, okay. Thanks man. Appreciate you answering. I know what you mean about phones going obsolete. I got the LG Dare when it was the shine of Verizon. Now, months later, the phone was discontinued. It kind of sucks considering I won't be able to upgrade for about a year. But we'll see what happens..
Glad to see laptops aren't the same way and I won't really have to worry about it. Who knows, I may STILL try to get a newer, fresher laptop but as of right now this is a very powerful (and expensive haha) gaming laptop that I will use for years on end. Thanks.

Appreciate ya Xotic.

You can't blame a guy for enjoying his notebook and getting side tracked. But nice to see you take the time to recognize and share your positive experience.

I can't really expand on Anew's comments as he covered it thoroughly.

Keep up the great work Xotic.

Speed I think phased out NP5797 a few weeks back when the i7 mobiles came out. But as said not to worry support should not be an issue. The components that make up that model are still and will remain around for a good amount of time. Nice specs on your system.

Welcome to the forums.

Haha. Thanks powerpack. Glad to hear I won't really have much to worry about and can still use this knowing I'm not the tortoise in a PC race. :p
