So I've been lurkin for a while, browsing around online and came across this beautiful thin-and-light that is supposed to start shipping first week in December. Have you guys got any firm dates for this machine? will you be carrying it? Its basically the ASUS UL30A 13" with the Nvidia GT 210M dedicated card. This will smoke any thin-and-lights out now and in the near future.

I'm also curious if Xoticpc.com is going to carry this laptop. Amazon.com has it on there site for pre-orders already, but I don't wanna order from them because they charge tax in my state.

I've noticed another reseller has these shipping since last week. Have we any word on weather or not you willl be carrying these machines? (my 12" had apple juice pourd over it and the repair bill will be more than the machine is worth... I've been eyeing this machine as its replacement) I would love to buy agian from you guys. the other seller has a single set up for the machine, I could see you easily providing upgraded versions of this machine (better hdd/sdd, more memory, bigger battery)

....I'm waiting with my wallet open over here :p...

We've been trying to get some stock of this model, but unfortunately we are unable to obtain the UL30VT-X1 as it's an Amazon exclusive model only :(

I am assuming this ships with they 4400 mAh 8 cell battery. Is the spare battery the same or is there an option for the 5600 mAh 8 cell battery? (I wouldnt mind spending a little extra to get the high capacity 8 cell) Will you be planning to stock some of the silver UL30VT-A1 models when they come out later this month?

I'm waiting the rest of this week to see what is in the CES crystal ball before pulling the trigger, but am REALLY excited to grab this laptop and am SO HAPPY I can now get it from you guys as opposed to amazon!!!

Huge kudos to whomever pulled off getting some of these machines!!

EDIT: Guess in my zeal I missed that this IS the UL30VT-A1! with the upped battery and silver finish :-/ Way cool!!! :D

Asus originally stated that the UL30VT-A1 will have a black exterior finish, however, once we received this model in stock, it ended up having a silver exterior finish. We will be updating the pictures in our gallery section to reflect the silver finish.
