Anyone, official or unofficial, know if the NP9280 is going to be upgraded with the new i7-980X? Would be interesting to have that little number in there

If I remember correct Clevo even with extremes in the past has not allowed BIOS OC's? If I am wrong someone correct me.

The D900F is being offered with 980X on some sites, link (http://hothardware.com/News/EUROCOM-Equips-17-D900F-Panther-Notebook-With-Core-i7980X-Extreme-Edition/), at this time. Will Sager offer? Not sure.

I might be alone on this sentiment but isn't all that extra horse power of the Golftown chip wasted with only a single GTX 285m graphics card. I can't imagine spending that kinda of money and not getting SLI or Crossfire.
If it was strictly a workstation pc them maybe but not for games. Ofcourse then you can get allot more for your money if you just build a desktop

Oh and I get away with this on non brand sites so should not be a problem here. The nickname for that site is "ibuycrap.com".:D
Wait a week and after Sager decides if it won't blow up they might offer.

poor attempt at being funny.....sorry guys, I have failed you.....no way in hell I would ever spend that kinda money on a laptop. I did however configure a desktop for a little over $13,000, now that one I am starting to get serious about?????

Maybe someday I'll develop it, but I'll prolly just sell it. I've had it for years....
