I'm selling this because I am no longer travelling as much, so I don't need a gaming laptop, just a desktop. I plan on building a desktop once I sell this. I bought this from Acer7720-6395 on the NBR forums. He purchased it on August 26, 2009.

The laptop is in very good condition, and comes with the carrying case. I have had zero problems with it. I usually have it hooked up to a 22" monitor at 1680x1050 resolution. Windows 7 was installed by me after I purchased it. It was purchased off xoticpc.com and the warranty lasts until August 26, 2012.

I'm starting the sale at $2000, or best offer. Just PM me for other offers. If you already have an OS, I would be willing to sell for less obviously.

Accepting paypal, may accept other options just ask.

Willing to ship to US or Canada.

Ebay name: jedzpd

I only have 4 ebay ratings and 1 heat rating, but they are all 100% positive.

If anyone would like me to post pictures of the laptop and/or my forum name on paper with it, I would be willing to oblige.

I'd be interested in some pics. 2,000 is a little out of my range though, most I could probably do is 1800.

I have to say, I find it a little alarming that so many 9280's are for sale in such a short amount of time even though they are relatively new.

They rock as a desktop replacement thats plugged in. they are not however, very portable. they are very heavy, and the battery life is less than 1 hr.

I had no problem with the weight, portability, or battery life, I'm just not travelling as much. I actually just finished putting together my new desktop yesterday. There's just no reason for me to have both...

Still for sale. Please don't PM me telling me you're interested then waste my time with offering $1200.

It is a used laptop man, its only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Just like buying a new car... as soon as you drive it off the lot its worth drops by 15%.

Don't post a product on a forum then yell at someone for making an offer that is fair to them, personally.. I'd never buy used electronics from a forum post!

A proper response to an offer would be to thank them for their interest but you are not interested in selling it for that price at this time, then if you get desperate later you might still have a buyer, but chances are if you piss them off they wont bother offering it to you again!

I know what you're saying, but I also know what these are currently selling for. Its rude forum etiquette to send low ball offers, especially if you ask questions back and forth through multiple PMs before telling me your under priced offer. It is a waste of both of our time.

This is now listed on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330433426360#ht_500wt_1182

$1500 winning bid and you yelled at someone for offering $1200.. now tell me its only worth $2000 lol

I've seen ones a bit worse than mine selling for $1700-$1800, so yes, I do believe its worth $1800-$2000. ESPECIALLY when I get PMs offering me $1200 and saying its worth that much because they're currently selling for $1350, then linking me to an NP8690 on ebay offered for $1350 with the same GPU, two less hard drives and at less RPMs, a smaller screen, slower processor, and two GB less RAM.

He got a great deal on it IMO, but I had to get rid of it. I still believe $1200 is an outrageous offer, but I wouldn't have been annoyed if the first person hadn't sent me three PMs back and forth before lowballing, and the other person's reasoning was the NP8690 they linked which made no sense.

Edit: BTW, I'll be shipping it on Monday, tbisordi. Congratulations on the new laptop =]
