well when I ordered my laptop on my friday, they mentioned since I paying Cash price I can not get the free shipping or 4gb USB.

wierd but true, its either the cash price if your paying cash or if your paying by credit card you get free shipping or the 4gb USB.

You can get a decent USB flash drive for about 24 smackers, and that's for a Corsair. Cheapest I've seen was 17 bucks, then all the way up to $50some. All depends on what your poison is, as far as brand, speed, physical size, etc. goes. Check pricegrabber.com or pricewatch.com for the latest in cheap loot ;)

Makes me wonder what ReadyBoost does for Vista... if only I could find an SD card laying around here somewhere...I was curious about that.... *ooops* sorry, I'm back. lol

yeah i paid 39.95 for my 4gb flash drive a while back. its PNY brand i think. looking at the new 8gb IRON KEY flash drive. the features on it are awesome. not too sure if i wanna splurge for 299.99 for one quite yet though. lol

newegg does not carry the 8 gb ironkey yet... but their 4 gb ironkey is $150.00. I bit more than $30 :P
(however you are correct they have 8 gb sticks for under 30)
