you may find it on the ASUS estore, not sure if the included one is the 120watt one or may be different? I think it may be like those who ordered an extra battery and it may be a wait until they are stocked. doesn't hurt to call and ask Xotic, they would point you in the right direction if they don't have one.

I want one of these, too.

Nothing sucks more than having THE ONE CHARGER YOU OWN go south on you. Found that out the hard way. I have bought an extra charger for every laptop I own ever since.

I did find this: http://www.ebuybatteries.com/product/laptop-adapters/Asus/Asus-AC150W010.htm

I will have to verify that it is compatible before I order one though.

that one should work, just ask a present owner to double check theirs, it should be the same model # ADP-150NB.

my wife's dell power supply just died the other day, good thing I still had my old dell power supply, we had identical dells, til I upgraded to this ASUS.

unfortunately, the asus estore only shows a spare battery as an option.. and it's not even really an option yet because they're 'coming soon'.

asus directed me to 'provantage.com'. (sorry xoticpc, you dont have them as an option here, yet.. get on the ball! :P)

they have 4 in stock. excaliburpc.com has them as well but for about $10 more.

yep just realized that only the one above isn't an OEM version but one that is meant to work.

i went with the OEM version from provantage. i've bought ac adapters off ebay for my wifes thinkpad that were similar replica types and the build / cable quality always sucked. not to say that the one above would be that way.. i just feel more comfortable buying the exact same one i have now.

Xotic PC offers them as an option on the customization page... :notworthy:XPCS:

is that getting on the ball fast enough for you?

I bought the non-oem version and it appears to work just fine. I used it for a while just to make sure. It is just a back up; I learned the hard way with my Toshiba - the oem power adapter failed in the first 30 days and I had to return it under warranty. That was a pain in the ass.

Laptops are fabulous as long as you can get the battery charged. Now every laptop I own has two power cords.
