Hi guys,

I'm here to test the waters and see if anybody would be interested in buying my NP8662. I ordered it in late April of 2009, received it late last May from XoticPC and it's been wonderful. I've never had any hardware failures; this has been a solid, adult-owned and indoor-used laptop, rarely leaving my desk. I'm looking to sell because I'm thinking of going to graduate school and have another laptop that can get the job done (and won't tempt me to play games).

Original order total: $1,514.00
My asking price: $900 (+$20 shipping, from Virginia)

Probably sold by now, the post was from May. Looks like they haven't come in besides that original post so you may want to send that poster a private message if you are really interested. Maybe they have it setup to receive notification at their personal email if a private message arrives. Good luck.

hey....thanks for the help. I sent him a PM.

I would consider the other 8662....it's a lower price...but the loose audio jack makes me wonder if it has been banged around some.

Wow! Sorry I kinda figured I wouldn't get any more responses on this forum so haven't been checking it. The laptop is still for sale if you're interested, though.

Hey Kall, Buddy wants to pay less than $900? That is a tuff one. If I was a buyer I would want lower. But as a seller I think the price is fair.

Not aimed at you Kall but selling a notebook sucks. They lose so much value so fast.

Good luck guys.

Yeah, I was just thinking - it's been a few months since may, time for the value to degrade a bit so I'll go ahead and lower the price to $800.
