The usual: an arm and a leg, your first born, and I think they might require what is left of your soul.
I've only seen one retailer list a price so far ($3200 base model) but they are known to list early and list high... I'd say you will see base models cropping up at around $2800-$3000 with comperable upgrade prices as current models.

This thing sounds like a monster!!! Would be neat to play with but not lug around...........that is why I bought an 8690. It seems like a netbook compared to what I was carrying!!!!

WOW!
I mean like you said they tend to list high but that is a monster price to go with the monster system. That will scare off more than a few people.

Does it also come with wheels and a handle?
Unless all four drives are something like this (http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/01/hitachi-stuffs-320gb-into-worlds-fastest-7mm-hard-drive/), I'd say that they're starting to blur the definition of laptop there. Sure, you CAN stuff that much space into a laptop, but is it practical?

Considering the Nvidia GTX480m is supposedly made by Nvidia and not by ODM's the GPU's will be much more expensive than we are used to. Where a Nvidia GPU maybe used to cost 5-600 dollars expect that price to go up by 2-300 dollars. So when you consider a desktop i7, chassis and dual 480M's I am guessing you will easily be in the upper 2k's even lower 3k's to start.
The performance of this laptop will be insane. Although as someone else said the free bag it comes with should be one with wheels. My estimated weight...14.5lbs.

Yeah, I feel this is really pushing the envelope when it comes to the portability option that people normally prefer when they get a laptop if it hits some of these estimated weights people are throwing out.
Looks like something especially made for people who are constantly on the go and need the kind of power you would normally find in a desktop. Hardcore/pro gamers who are constantly playing in different locations or your on the go business people who run graphic intensive programs such as renderings.

Enjoy the heat from that thing, too.

It's crazy heavy and with the cost, might as well build a beefed out desktop! I don't care if this will have the best performance in games.
