I can not figure out which laptop I should get. I want something that will last for 3-4 years. I am a gamer and programmer. I am looking at the Sager 8760 (920XM/8GB/ATI 5870) and the ASUS G73JH -A2(920XM/8GB/ATI 5870). Can any of you help me figure out which would be the best one to get?
Thanks!

Go to the Which Laptop Should I Buy section of the forums and search through some of the threads. You will find a ton of them talk about the pros and cons of those machines.
Long and short is depends on your budget. G73 lacks certain connections, has a long wait time right now if you customize it, has some issues with screen. At the same time to start off it is the best bang for your buck.
If you have a high budget and want to get lots of upgrades then the 8760 will start being the better choice around $1900 or so. Also if you need express card or eSata connections then that would be your choice.

Thanks...I'll check that out. Both laptops I specced out here will run me about $3100. I loaded them both!

at that price you should get the Sager. Then again at that price you might want the Sager 9280 or X7200 with the new Nvidia card.

I agree with Mav 100% at over $3000 you might as well get the worlds most powerful NP9280. I also think and not sure why (must be value) the G73 does not appeal to me as much as even the 8760 spec'd out. If you are going to build a monster Sager all the way.

Ya, that makes good sense to me too! Sager would be the better choice!
