bad service and slowest process speed
I never heard of any company that will takes 5~12 days on customized their product. Their product should be ready and tested before customer order it.
If someone asked me where I'm buying my PC next time, it's definitely not Xoticpc. I don't believe I can't find any other place that have about the same product and service, but much faster process than Xoticpc. Is this how it should be? I'll give a 6 out of 10 if someone ask me.
I'm disappointed about xoticpc.

I am sorry to hear of this sevenphantom (http://www.xoticpcforums.com/member.php?u=13782).
I apologize our lead times on a few models have temporary extended to 5-12 business days. With the amount of different options, everything is built to order and fully tested after order placement. If I can help anything with your order please ask and I would be happy to help.

Not sure what you are complaining about. Xotic is not some huge corporation with tons of employees. They are expanding but still don't have a bunch of people for customizing laptops. If you order a stock model then they send it out soon after they receive it. They can't send what they don't have.
As far as complaining about testing and saying it should already be tested, that makes no sense. If you customize your order then Xotic has to do the upgrades and then test to make sure those upgrades are working properly. Would you prefer they just do the upgrades and send them out without testing? All that would do is probably result in more returns and slow things up even more.
Not sure what you ordered but for some reason you seem to think things should be much faster when the reality is for the size of the company and the number of orders they receive, Xotic does a hell of a job.
You may not order from them again but I can guarantee I along with many others on this board will order from them in the future.

depends on how you are looking to set them up. If you mean using empty space on an existing drive and repartitioning it so that there are two logical drives per physical drive then you need unallocated free space on the drive in question. You can do this under computer management in the administrative tools section of control panel. Look under there for disk management.
If you want to do this on the primary windows drive you need to use the shrink volume option and shrink it as much as it tells you that you can and then create the new partitioned space.

I dont think you spoke to me but maybe Justin W? Please PM me your order details and I can answer any questions you have on your Hard Drive.
If you are looking at partitioning a Hard Drive, right click on My Computer Go to -> Manage -> Disk Management.

I need to pay another thousand dollar for rent because the order is so slow. (my original plan is moving out or leaving last week)
now u know the reason slowboto?
it doesn't matter if the company is small or not.
they can make a rush order or a rush process or customize

Did you ask and pay for rush ordering? That is an option when you go to Phase 2.
Sounds like you are blaming them for things that are not in their control. You ordered a customized unit which means they need to receive that unit, get to your spot on their order list, upgrade it and make sure it works along with working on all the other orders. If you needed it by a certain time then you should have ordered stock.
As far as the other things you originally had up before you edited, most of that has nothing to do with Xotic. Asus does not ship their laptops with the Windows CD. You can create the backup on your own or you could have paid Xotic to make the disks, it was a $19 option. Then you can do a clean install. The bloatware is all stuff Asus, along with all companies, puts on their laptops. Xotic doesn't remove it because it is up to the user to decide if they want it or not.

err...yeah, I second what slowboto's saying. did you ask for estimated waiting times before you ordered? or ask if rush order priorities were applicable?
heh, I know exactly how this feels, I've ordered from a small, but seriously awesome custom desktop company before, XoticPC and it's community gives me some serious reminders of it. it's a small company, and they take the time to get things right for the customer. they're not a huge company like dell/hp/etc., and therefore aren't as speedy because they don't have as much comparable manpower. however, compared to the care and time they put into their products for the customer, that's what matters.
srsly, look at HP and Dell. do they have a forum like this where real people actually respond to your questions

Dude, stop whining. You chose to go with XoticPC as they have the best service on the planet (in my humble opinion). I understand the frustration of the wait but that is the nature of customised laptops. You should've done your research first and asked around like everybody else. Everyone here knows what you're going through and I emphatise.
Patience pays. Also, research, research, research. Bless ya!

I will go with a company like Xotic again. Try getting the lever of service from a big box electronics shop. If you can.........you have more patience than I do.

I am currently thinking of the Chris Rock video. Tips on how not to get your ass kicked by the police. Blasting "F'k" the police while being pulled over by the police is just ignorant. The complaint posted just reminds me of that, right or wrong.
Xotic PC site? BB? Yea OK I get it.
