1) What is your budget?
My budget is around 2500$

2) What size notebook would you prefer?
Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen

3) Please select your country's flag as a post icon and tell us what country are you buying this in.
I'm buying it from Finland

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
I prefer Clevo/Sager and maybe Alienware notebooks. I don't really like any of the notebooks from the bigger brand companies

5) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?
Gaming and university grade normal studies

6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
I probably will take it to places and the weight limit is somewhere in 5kg prolly, and I wont leave it anywhere

7) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
WoW, CoD4, AoC and Crysis comes to mind now

8) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Don't really care. Over an hour maybe?

9) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?
Nope

10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista), Mac OS, Linux, etc.
Vista 64bit cos I want 4gb of ram

Thank you for the reply.

Couple of other things came to my mind after posting the thread (which was made in a hurry):

Can I have a Swedish/Finnish keyboard layout to the laptop?
If something comes up and I have to send it back for repairs, do I have to pay for the deliveries or can I get a warranty option that would see to the costs?

A Swedish/Finnish keyboard is available for an additional $49 non-refundable and will add an additional 3-7 business days onto your order.

International Warranty
Xotic PC will provide service for any International Order at our US Service Center. Shipping is paid by the customer both ways for any DOA or warranty repair.

Xotic PC will repair/replace the machine at our US Service Center anytime during the warranty period.

If you are really concerned for shipping a RMA then you may wish to look into ASUS products as well... they offer a "global warranty" which have service centers around the world (and in finland). just a thought. you can read more about the global warranty here
