Sager2090> when can I expect it if ordered?

I'm interested in purchasing the 2090 C ULTRA. I am only upgrading RAM on my purchase to 2GB / 2SODIMMS
I will, however, need it by late august for my return to school. Around when can I expect it to arrive if I ordered this week? Thanks.

I have a question and I didn't want to open a new thread so I'll just ask it here. If I get the Bluetooth module on the 2090 then will there be any delay on the shipment of it? I'd also like to know if the WXGA models are still in stock cause I'm thinking about ordering by the end of the week. I just need it about a week before school starts (August 24th).

I understand being frustrated with the delays. Please realize we have NO control over when the manufacturers provides us the machine. We are providing dates the manufacturer is providing us. We apologize their updates have not been accurate.

We do not give out how many machines we received or how many we will ship out. There is no benefit this information would provide anyone. When your order goes into production it will be shipped out right away.

As previously stated we will be shipping orders placed before 7/11 next week! (For WSXGA models) :D

Incoming college student here too. I had to cancel my order quite awhile ago because it did not meet my deadline. I received a confirmation e-mail that it was indeed refunded (since the credit card was already charged way before any sign of shipment). But since I ordered through my mother's credit card, we are wondering where and how this money was sent back to us. Any help here? I threw another e-mail and the only reply I got was basically, 'we sent you the refund, and thats all to it.'

Hello, I realize that you are not able to be specific about the shipment dates for the NP2090's, but surely you understand the predicament that many of us are in. I for one leave for college on the 16th, and 90% of computer suppliers could have gotten it to me by then since I ordered on the 28th.

For the record I ordered an NP2090-V Elite without a TV tuner.

What I would like to know are three things:

First, if you expect to get them in anytime soon?


Secondly, if I could alter my order so that the arrival date would be in the next two weeks. I wouldn't want to do it unless it would be worth my while.

Thirdly, how great of a hassle would it be to cancel my order? I ordered with a CC, and I have a feeling it will take a while to get it off, just as it has taken a while to get everything else done.

:( I apologize for the blunt behavior, but I'm rather frustrated.

We completely understand and apologize for the delay's. I am sorry we still have no ETA on the WSXGA models, the WXGA models are coming in but that is all we have info on. You can alway alter the shipping method anytime before it ships :)

You can cancel anytime. It takes 2-4 business days to get a order fully canceled out. We have allot of people that switch to the Asus G1S or Asus S96S. Are those two alternatives a option for you?

may 31, huh. Quite a long wait. Though for me, this isnt a just matter of patience. Id like to have this laptop in my hands by early sept before i leave for school (ive was told that it should be no problem when i ordered). not having it arrive will definitely bring problems and after waiting a month already im quite reluctant to cancel..esp with it being so close.
i just keep getting told it should arrive in a week, then another week..then another. Its frustrating esp when you have a deadline. Oh and I wish you luck, too

when you say it will ship within 5-7 days does it mean it will leave the warehouse or start the testing process? The reason I ask is because my order is still in pre-order status when it should, according to your comment, be in testing stage (I was told the next 5-7 biz days for my specific order from customer service on Aug 20--5 days ago)

The lead time i was quoting was for the 2090. Any new order of the 2090 would have no problem shipping by Mid September. The 3297 machines are coming in slowly and will soon have ample stock to fill all back orders.

yeahh maybe it is the wxga screen as that is what i chose. i also chose the 120gb 5400rpm hd, bluetooth, and vista business. mine was sent to production like on the 27th. i hope it ships this week as I am in college majoring in computer science and i learn better by doing rather than just listening and looking. i came home this weekend just to test out all the programs that we did in class.

We are shipping many of the Sager 2090 IFL90's out every day. We are getting limited supplies of the regular IFL90 Compal machine but they come in very sporadic and small shipments.

Got the new 2090 today and so far it's exceeded my expectations. Everything worked right out of the box and the screen is beautiful. (WXGA)

I just finished setting up / optimizing the OS, AV and spybot so I haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces yet.

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks Xotic! This was worth the wait.

The spare battery is still backordered so it will ship separately. So far it seems like a good laptop. The screen has no dead pixels, and my only qualm so far is that the touchpad buttons feel wimpy. My ferrari 4005 buttons feel much more solid.

All in all, great service on the part of xoticpc. I used the instant chat feature several times and they were very helpful. Another small problem, I asked for custom partitioning and it didn't happen, but it's no big deal as I won't have to re-install windows or anything.

I just noticed there is was a price drop on the website for this model.
When I ordered, the total price was $1382. When I configure it now, it is $1347.

I already sent in my money order, I was wondering if I will get free upgrades or something while I wait for the wsxga+ screens?

well i know from the time i sent in my order i shld be getting a T7500 upgrade from T7300 for free and well since it was a pre-order also the Artic Silver, which reminds me my brother got his laptop with the artic silver supposedly in it, but his laptop still heats up a lot. Is there anyway to make sure whether he has artic silver in the laptop or not?.

So ... we had someone who ordered August 20 and is still waiting on his WSXGA, Whereas someone who ordered on September 20 is receiving his. Another who ordered on September 13, already has it.
