Just got the laptop I ordered just a week ago. Thank you XoticPC for shipping it out in just a couple days! I love the build quality and "look" of the laptop. It came with everything it was supposed to come with, perfect, with no scratches. They even loaded up the XP I added on and updated all my drivers, so I had a fully working laptop as soon as I turned it on. My NP9262 order went to Phase 2 on Tuesday.

I wonder when Sager will support the full 8GB RAM and not only 6.8 GB ?

If it is a chipset limitation, does it mean it can be field upgradable later on ? (when full 8GB addressable by newer chipset)

it is a chipset issue (according to notebookreview posters)

Eurocom is supposedly shipping "8gb capable" 9262 chassis systems.
