ASUS G73JH -A1/-A2 Review & Benchmarks

We have completed some initial benchmarks and a video review for the new ASUS G73JH. The G73JH features a 17" FHD screen, ATi HD5870 Video Card, 8GB DDR3 1333MHz, i7 720QM CPU and 2x 500GB 7200RPM Hard Drives.

Nice, so GPU stays under 70C running Vantage? What TC is on your test unit? I want 3DMark06.

Does this ran on stock asus coolers or + notebook coolers u can add buying it? By the way is this worth buying notebook cooler in complectation , are they loud? P.s JUSTIN in complectation description "86GB DDR3 1333MHz" <<< wtf?

Yea...that's gotta be 8. Caught me off guard too. I have a server in my bedroom that's got 64gb and you need a key to turn that on @_@ ('course I broke it so ya gotta start it with a bobby pin). And even that's a tad bit of overkill considering what I use it for.

I'm assuming that he meant to just write 8GB DDR3 BUT he says that it features 1333MHz RAM. When I ordered mine it came stock w/1066MHz. What's the story? Are we getting 1333 or 1066 in 'stock' models?

Some of the first models will come with 1333MHz due to a supply issue at ASUS. Not guaranteed for everyone though.

We will be fulfilling orders on a first come first serve basis. If you already have a pre-order in our database, then we will contact you once we have a model for your order. If you don't receive an update, then unfortunately that means we don't have a model for your order yet. Currently for any new G73JH-A1/A2 orders being submitted into our database we're quoting an ETA of Late March.
