if I had to guess, you are accidentally hitting the trackpad and that is making it click things.

Can I turn off the trackpad? and How to do it? I use a wirless mouse, and do not use finger pad.

im reading so much negative press about the laptop.. kinda regret getting it . worried.. esp now that i got the mafia 2 demo and want to get my 2nd pc game since crysis which i got the day i got the laptop.. but the fps is like in the teens and single digits on this system and im not even maxing everything in the game options.

running 10.7 catalyst drivers

are these drivers broken with the g73 and the version 5870M it uses?

should i go back to the 10.5 drivers? or go all the way back to the ones that came on system off the driver disc?

I dont know why your FPS is so low. Vertical sync or something? It makes no sense. Make sure all background processes are gone or that you dont have too much going on

It's not the computer it's the game, something about physx dropping framerates because apex renders every single piece of clothing for every single npc on the screen. See the fix for it here.

I downloaded the demo just to see what the problem was, I didn't even do the fix and I had no issues. Now time to uninstall, while there are some cool features, overall I was not impressed.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of it really, I think he just had some bug because I turned everything on and was still better than he mentioned.
