  • What are the Upgradable Parts for "Sager 2090" Not

    Hi,

I am wondering, are the below parts for "Sager 2090" notebook can be upgraded:

    1- Video Card?
    2- Processor?
3- Can I install "Intel Turbo Memory (Robson)" later on?

    Thanks in advance...

    1. The video card currently available is nVIDIA GeForce Go 8600GT w/512MB

    3. You can upgrade the processor to a 2.4Ghz

    3. The Intel Turbo Memory can be installed at a later time.

If you'd like to customize this laptop with these upgrade click here.

Justin, I understand that the notebook (Sager NP2090) could be run in European power standards (220V) but does it come with European power cord as well or it's only come with North America one?

Quick question, does the 8600gt in this laptop have DDR2 or DDR3 memory?

Secondly, assuming it is ddr2 for a second, how would that compare to the 8600gt in the G1S-A1 which has ddr3 but only 256mb on-board? I guess the question is more ram vs. faster ram. Thanks.

The 2090 features the 8600GT with DDR2 memory.
Among the few that have DDR3 8600GT is the Asus G1S, if you are looking for a gaming laptop.

                  thanks for responding,

Is the performance between DDR3 and DDR2 really noticable?

Although naysayers would say there is not a big difference, in 3dmark6 the differnce could be from 600-1000.
Also, since the DDR3 version run on a smaller chip, the frequencies can go higher, and the GPU would run much cooler.
