  • Low Frame Rates with 9261

I just got Call of Duty 4 and am getting horendous frame rates. My rig is:

    NP9261

    E6700 2.66 ghz
    4 GB 667 mhz RAM
    2x 7950GTX
    160 GB Seagate hard drive
    Vista Home Premium 64 bit

I'm averaging between 10-30 fps while running max settings at either 1680x1050 or 1900x1080.

I have a computer at work which has less RAM, a lesser CPU, and a 320 GB 8800 GTS card and it's absolutely smoking my Sager out of the water. It's also running 64 bit Vista. What's going on? I've got the latest drivers (156.15) and any relevant Vista hotfixes. Dying for any suggestions. I hope I didn't just spend a heap of money on a machine with lots of hardware that doesn't work.

    Help!

Try updating the drivers with those from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
They improve performance in all newer game and suposedly add SLI support for those games.
    Personal Quote :
Angelina can make your fps rise faster and faster.
Your laptop will always lag next to her
I would configure her with bigger...
    Na, she`s perfect.
