Reinstall the drivers from the Sager site. This is some what of a common issue (same problem with mine). Reinstalling the drivers will fix it right up. Also first try holding Function Key+F10 which turns the camera on and off.

Install the driver after the reboot. First time round cleans out the old driver.

I tried installing the driver from sagernotebook for 9262 and it doesn't seem to work. I did a reboot after uninstalling the driver and a reboot after resintalling the driver and still I can't get it to work. When I run the Bisoncam software it just asks me to press Fn+F10 to activate the camera. When I do that it still says the same thing. I also noticed that this software seems different than the software that first came with the notebook.

Maybe tech support can help you then.... reinstalling the drivers solved my problem. Maybe try the disk drivers (if its on there, idk for sure). Oh also, I updated the aero drivers and it got my fn+f10 function to work (I dont think it did before that). Wat error are you getting exactly? I had the registry key error, but if your cameras not activated then it will say hardware not found.

Ok I didn't see the optional drivers on the cd. cd driver seems to work fine it's just the driver on the website must be wrong.

That's good to hear! Maybe you were downloading the wrong OS drivers.... I.E. XP for Vista or maybe 32-bit for 64-bit.

The driver from the Sager site comes with BisonCam whereas the preinstalled (non-working) one comes with VideoView. I got the registry key errors too and uninstalling D-MAX and installing driver from Sager site worked for me. Although the names for the utility/front-end are different, I think the applications are the same. They look identical.

EDIT: I messed around with it a bit, because I found the whole thing curious. There seem to be 3 drivers on the CD in the Others>04Camera folder (if I remember correctly): Sertek, D-Max, UVCBison. I reinstalled the D-Max from the CD and got it to work, too. This time w/o the registry error. So, I probably just stick with the driver on the CD rather than the DL'd version (listed as USB2.0 2M WebCam v6.10.27.2)
