Hello,
I'm trying to purchase a G1S-A1 laptop. I've read the good reviews on reseller's for Xotic PC, and I also like how you've handled the rare bad reviews. Pretty professional, unlike a few of the other vendors I checked there.
Anyway, I just wanted to have clarified a few things.
1. You will ship to APO, correct? Am I going to have to do a wire transfer or a check (which could potentially be difficult from Afghanistan), or can I pay with a good 'ol American check card/visa?
2. Another vendor told me that the G1S-A1's Santa Rosa will not work with Win XP. True? I'd prefer XP since one of the functions of this laptop will be gaming, but if it must be, then Vista will do I guess.
3. Still another vendor told me that Asus is "way" back ordered for spare batteries for the G1S-A1, and they can provide none. However, I've noticed that you are one of the few vendors (along with BTOTECH.com and MilestonePC.com) that offer it in the "customize" options. Are you able to sell spare batteries at the moment? This is somewhat of a significant issue for me. +4 hours of laptop usage away from an outlet means a lot more to me than +2 hours.
Sorry for the long post. I'd appreciate if anyone knows any of these answers. Thank you very much.
