  • Upgrading HDD for NP2090 (5400rpm 1.5Gb/s->7200rpm 3Gb/s)

    Will this Seagate Momentus:

    Specs:
    http://www.seagate.com/docs/pdf/mark...tus_7200_2.pdf
    &
    http://www.seagate.com/staticfiles/s...100451238d.pdf

    ... work with the NP2090? ... I know it will most likely work, but I wanted to know whether I will get the most out of its "SATA 3Gb/s interface with Native Command Queuing (NCQ), the fastest interface option available today, enhances system performance levels." ... thing is, the drive will default to 1.5GB/s automatically if the interface in the NP2090 isn't 3GB/s, so it won't make sense for me to buy it ... !? If anyone else has more knowledge on the subject, please advise ...

    I wanted to switch from the 5400rpm 1.5Gb/s Fujitsu in the NP2090 to this Seagate as I feel the Fujitsu is a bottleneck
